Arts and crafts time [Odien]

Aaron perched on one of the benches, tracing a pencil along a pale white page of a sketchbook, tongue sticking out slightly over his lower lip as he worked on his next master piece. It took the form of one of the random demi-gods that were occupying the arts and crafts place, a rather burly looking guy who had caught his eyes and now was being immortalized in a drawing. He was dressed in simple clothes, a camp-half blood shirt and khaki shorts, with a stripped jacket over it, colored green and purple. He hummed lightly to himself as his drawing began to take form, wondering what every one else was doing and letting his eyes scan over the room once again. The guy was still doing whatever it was that he was doing and so Aaron could return to his drawing.

The oddly colored wrench turned into a blowtorch, and the son of Hephaestus began the work of finishing his creation. He melted a small circle into the disk, allowing the dripping metal to cool a little before lifting it with his gloves. Charles used the dagger sitting beside him to carve out the circle, the soft metal cooling from in the air as he dropped it aside. As the steel contraption in front hardened into it's final shape, he gave it a flick with his finger. Charles watched with stoic concentration as the disk expanded rapidly outwards, into a ball made of various strips of metal .

It was after he finished this that he became bored, and almost scrapped the project. However, he felt a peculiar sensation, almost as if his father were watching him. He looked up, then around, seeing only a small, rather nondescript male paying him any attention. Charles stood up and walked over to him, cocking his head as he analyzed the being. "You aren't quite ugly enough to be my father." The son of a Cripple looked down at what the boy was drawing. "Is that supposed to be me?" he inquired.

Aaron’s attention snapped from the 60% finished sketch, looking to the male that was addressing him with a certain amount of shyness, chewing on his lower lip as his heartrate began to accelerate slightly. ”I... um..thank you? Aaron said a little confused at what the male said as the pencil fell from his hand and clattered nearly soundlessly against the table. He was then asked about the person that he was drawing, looking down to the drawing and back to the son of haphestus, the two looking rather similar save for it was mostly not finished.

He however found himself a little embarrassed that the male had actually seen the image, before it was finished even. Yet it was also because people did not take well to people drawing them without asking, or even knowing them. This left him in a strange circumstance and one that he was not expecting to be placed in, not ever or atleast he had hoped not. ’Y..yeah its you. If ya don’t like it, I could get rid of it.” he said meekly, looking from the male to the sketch, and then back waiting for an answer.

NotBrandonCharles narrowed his eyes at the Demi-God, as the younger (looking, at least) male appeared to become flustered after Charles approached him. He glanced down at the drawing, then back up at the child thoughtfully. Much chin stroking was involved as a thought occurred to him, one that would explain all the behaviors exhibited by the child opposite him.

Charles continues to rub his jawline as he asked of the boy, "Are you homosexual? If so, I am flattered to be the object of your desire, but I feel obligated to inform you that the interests are not reciprocated." Without allowing the child the chance to reply, he looked back to the drawing. "That is a nice piece of art however, and if you have no desire to keep it, I would very much like to do so, upon it's completion. You could have this in exchange," Charles lifted the sphere.

The male seemed to be thinking over something, rubbing his chin while he looked over Aaron as if appraising him. Which only really made him feel awkward, because that was what typically happened when people looked at him. His breath began to grow shallow, and the first thing that male said managed to take the cake, leaving Aaron speechless as he looked to the demi-god. His eyes grew wide for a moment and his cheeks began to grow red. Was he homosexual? Aaron had never really thought about his orientation before, but it had hit him just now, he might be actually. Considering that he did feel weird around boys and girls just kinda scared him because they laughed at him a lot, so that might have made sense, if he were not so damn awkward.

’I…um….y..y..you can have it if you want.” He managed to stutter it out, trying not to tear up as that would likely only look bad on him, as well as to the male that had already seemed to figure out a lot by just looking at him. So looking down he would begin to fill a few more lines in, making the sketch appear more complete, and trying not to make the color apparent. Also, he did want to make sure that he wasn't giving away a half finished sketch.

How peculiar. The boy either had not outgrown the common prepubescent condition of selective auditory attention, or he had purposefully ignored the question. If it was the case of the former, he either had an extremely feeble mind, or needed to see a professional psychiatrist for his immaturity issues. If it was the latter, then that either confirmed Charles' hypothesis, or it indicated he was offended by the question, yet was too polite to voice his objection. By how flustered he had become, Charles guessed that was not the case. As such, that left two options: a mental disability, or homosexuality.

Charles was intrigued at this point. Nodding in thanks for the picture he would receive, he grabbed the boy by the face and tilted the male's head backwards, peering into his eyes, looking for any sign of mental disease. "Are you broken? If so, can you be fixed?" Charles failed to see how this might be considered untactful, and yet even if he had known, he would have still asked. Curiosity, and the need to fix everything, were major downfalls of his.

Aaron had heard the question, but he was just unsure how to answer it really, seeing as how…..he did not quite have an idea on how to answer. All he could do really was be red faced and wish that this were not actually happening, because he was beyond embarrassed. The male would then grab him by the face, seeming to examine the male as he could only sit there still shocked, now feeling somewhat awkward. Wait, he was touching his face and acting all weird, which confused and flustered Aaron even more now. ”B..broken? No, I don’t think I’m broken.”” he stuttered, pulling his head back and shaking it slightly, pulling his jacket up as if to hide his cheeks. ”Nope not broken.” he added Brooklyn accent beginning to color his speech.
