World on Fire [The Hyperion Issue]

The Titan cabin held one dirty mirror, and in it Liam saw his reflection glaring back at him, eyes slowly gaining dark circles around them and with his shirt gone one could see an ugly scar that decorated his chest. A monster long ago had damaged him, claws raking along the smooth flesh and the ugly mark was all that he was left with as far as that was concerned, disfiguring one pectoral and leaving the nipple for the most part gone. It reminded him why he rarely removed his shirt, and only did so when he made a small glamor, enough of one that one could not see how his torso really looked. Liam shook his head, remembering the strange dream he had last night, one of fire and everything being consumed by the all covering inferno. A low laugh could be heard beyond the crackling blaze, and something calling out to him, the voice knowing his name.

His mind would lapse into the memory for a moment before he shook his head and glared into the mirror to see the cold gold eyes glaring back at him. They were full of judgment, yet indifference, as if they could hold no emotion. The last memory of his dream as his mother’s face, mouth wide open and screaming as the fire licked up at her skin. It would curl, burning as blisters would form and then burst as flesh melted in a gruesome display that would make any lesser being throw up. He needed to talk to someone about this, and yet there was no one to talk to about such strange dreams, as the demi-gods would likely have no interest in his plight and Cain would probably have no clue of it either. He ran fingers down along his face before slipping into his Camp Half Blood shirt, khaki cargo shorts along with his battered tennis shoes and slipped out of the cabin, moving through the camp with purpose.

A young demi-god would move out of his way, noting the strangeness of his cold golden eyes mentally before scrambling away, likely a child of one of the lesser gods. Yet his eyes were upon The Big House, a place that was supposedly where he was supposed to find something upon this subject. The Demi-Titan stepped through the front door, with sword strapped to his side and the usual staff to his back, almost always armed as if expecting someone to attempt to strike. He knew who he was looking for, a centaur by the name of Chiron, or he was called something else with a horse for an ass. Either way Chiron was who he was looking for.  He would knock on the office door of Chiron softly, and then hard waiting for him to answer.

”Hello, I have something that may be of…great importance. I hope ya got a minute.”

A knock came upon the office door, followed by another impatient one shortly afterwards. The centaur would look up from the paper he was writing upon, declaring "You may come in,". He set the pen on top of the papers and pushed them away as the newly claimed Demi-Titan entered the room; Chiron's own cousin. "Hello, Liam. Please, have a seat," he gestured towards one of the two chairs opposite of him. "Is there something that you needed?". Chiron was one of, and possibly the only, person at the camp not bothered by the presence of the Titan spawn; it would have been hypocritical for him to be so, given his own parentage.

Liam heard Chiron speak, inviting him into the room and the male would step through the door with eyes cautious of the room. The centaur sat behind his desk, sliding them away as he turned his attention to Liam with the typical expression, or how he expected the males expression anyway. Taking a seat that was offered to him, he would wait until his proverbial cousin would ask before choosing to answer his question, pursing his lips as he considered an answer. ”I’ve been having a dream….a strange dream and I’m wondering if you could help me. Maybe find out what it means or something like that.” He said simply with a voice that sounded somewhat distressed and the dark circles around his eyes further confirmed that.

Chiron arched his brows at the child before him; he looked far worse than most, showing signs of sleep deprivation, or at least REM. Not good for anyone, but especially not a child, and even more so in a Demigod (or Titan). Instead of inquiring as to his health, the centaur "cut to the chase"; time for idle discussion was little in this age. "How strange of a dream? What happens in it?".

Rhyku knocks at the door. Without an answer he opens the door. "Chiron... Oops sorry is this a bad time or?"

Chiron wanted to know more about the dream and he was willing to answer that portion anyway. ”There’s fire, a lot of it and everything is burning. I hear this voice, its familiar but at the ame time I don’t know it, saying my name and…laughing.” Said plainly looking up to the male and then jerking to the person knocking on the door, one eyebrow raised.
