Meet the Titans Empty
PostSubject: Meet the Titans   Meet the Titans Icon_minitimeSun Aug 03, 2014 9:58 pm

The sun was starting to die, being dragged behind the heavy horizon. Elliot sat within the cabin of Hecate, and glanced around at his 'siblings'. Jesus, most of them were scrawny little nerds. Especially one of the younger ones. Pulling a burgandy string jumper over his white band vest and his hat over his ears, the witch boy stood from his bed. Outside, dusk was starting to dominate the day so one or two of the lanterns inside the cabin were lit. He looked to his feet, his toe sticking out from a hole in his socks. After a brief search, he found and pulled his boots over his feet before moving to the door; he left quickly so that no-one could ask questions. With a close-mouthed creak the door was pushed back into place. Elliot exhaled, able to see his breath in the rather chilly air. Rubbing his closed fists together, and breathing heavily onto them to try and keep them warm he began walking towards the forest.

He'd heard a rumour, you see. That one of the camp's residents had recently been claimed by a titan. 'Erebus', The Titan of Darkness. That sounds metal as hell. But it was just a rumour. And Elliot didn't want to be kept in suspense. He began walking towards the entrance of the woods. He knew that the cabin for titans was in the forest, somewhere - but he had no idea where. And the stories he'd heard about the forest... it's a good thing he was a compotent spellweaver, otherwise he wouldn't even go near this place. Taking a sharp inhale of icy air, he began walking forward. Leaves crunched under his brown boots, and soon the silence was replaced by an eerie one. And that eerie silence died just as quickly. Birds could be heard over head, as could every step he took on the scattered foliage. When the scarce sunlight could no longer penetrate the branch filled roof of the woods, Elliot conjured a bright nigh-white sphere into his hand, which was engulfed in harmless red and purple fire - acting as a torch.

Meet the Titans Later

His breathing had become heavy. While he had managed to avoid any ddirect confrontation with any monsters, that didn't mean he hadn't had passive encounters. Their calls and footsteps seemed to follow him, but after atleast an hour and a half of searching he had finally managed to find the cabin. It looked... well... it looked like there hadn't been a demi-titan living there in years. A lot of them. But hope was not lost. In the dirty, dust smothered window he could make out a flickering candle. Lowering the intensity of his orb, Elliot began to approach the creepy cabin. His breathing was beginning to slow, and he could see the sky again. The sun was gone, replaced only by his mother's moon. And fortunately, with the moon being quite bright tonight, he no longer needed to maintain the small improvised light. Once it was dissipated, he resumed his approach to the cabin.

They'd better be in
, was the first thought to cross his mind. The forest is dangerous, especially at night. He didn't want all of this risk to be for nothing. He had to know if the rumours were true, and that a demi-titan had been claimed. What if they are in, what do I say was the next worry to coat his brain. He stopped, and tried to work out a conversation. Hello? Are you the demi-titan? Um... this is going to be a disaster. Taking one final breath, he stepped up to the front of and brought his fingers to the knocker. Lifting the brass construct, he let it drop - once.

PostSubject: Re: Meet the Titans   Meet the Titans Icon_minitimeMon Aug 04, 2014 6:05 am

Dusk, a time that Liam was not too fond of, yet his bunk mate seemed to have a different feeling towards that time of the day, one that heralded his time of power. He however found his body being overcome by slight annoyance, eyes narrowing as they scanned over a small paper back novel clutched within his hand, illuminated only by a small sphere of light that was hovering around his head and keeping him from trying to strain his eyes. The golden orbs scanned over the words engraved upon the page, scanning over them as they found themselves being absorbed into his mind. Liam had found the dark little cabin boring, and considering the night, he would find the camp becoming equally as boring. The little demi-gods were probably snug in their beds while the big bad Demi-titans were….bored in their cabin. Granted it was mostly Liam who was bored, as Cain had his own ways of getting entertained, granted he had only known the guy for a little while. Now they were both outcasts, dangerous and perhaps unwanted outcasts.

Still, he would deal with what he was handed, even if the demi-gods about here likely would sooner see him dead. Not that he could blame them, with the potential that he held, it was only right that people feared him but he did not feel really inclined to abuse such power. IN fact, he rarely found a need to use it beyond just showing off, which people loved to see him do. What he was reading however the male forgot, except that It was some kind of epic fantasy novel that involved something about a curse from a dragon. Dragon curses were pretty cool, so he would get behind something along those lines. His attention however snapped from the book at a small sound, something tapping at the door.

The Demi-Titan would rise from his laying position, dressed in a simple Camp Half-Blood shirt and khaki cargos, wearing only a pair of black socks on his feet. Rolling from his bed, he would land softly on his feet and make his way to the door, considering it for a moment before opening it. Before him stood a rather interesting male, one he did not know very well but he had seen before once in the camp. An amused smile formed upon his lips as he considered the male for a moment, resting a palm on the edge of the door and opening his mouth to speak. ”Can I help you?” He would ask wih his lilting accent, flashing white teeth as he waited for an answer, though likely his bunk mate would take an interest in the interloper as well, or atleast who they were.

PostSubject: Re: Meet the Titans   Meet the Titans Icon_minitimeMon Aug 04, 2014 9:28 pm

Cain had been out that night, as it was of course his time of ‘day’ to make himself known to the camp. Or rather, make the monsters known to camp and it was surprisingly still easy to kill a Demi-God here or there even with the patrols that had been going on. In fact he was just wiping his stygian iron dagger clean from the blood of the last fool he had killed, or rather tortured and then had a shadow monster kill to make it look like a monster attack. Shaking his head he returned the dagger to its place in his leather jacket moving the kid’s head with his foot, he had been a child of Apollo or something like that. Was a pretty good archer but once Cain was able to get in close it was no contest.

Allowing the shadows to rise up and completely cover him from head to toe the Demi-Titan essentially became one with them. In the next moment he was rising up from the shadows in the Titan cabin next to his bunk, except it wasn’t dark and ‘gloomy’ like he liked it, no instead there was a flicker of light coming from a candle from the newest resident of the forgotten Cabin. This blasted fool was even newer than the Oceanus brat, however unlike the aforementioned child this new comer at least had a spine. Wasn’t afraid to murder a few idiots along the way and even seemed to have a good grasp on what it meant to be a Demi-Titan. He had yet to see him in action but the mere fact that he was a Hyperion kid made Cain respect him, as in a sense they were opposites in terms of power.

His thought process however was interrupted when said newcomer, Liam he believed his name was, stood up to answer the knock on the Cabin door. Raising an eyebrow he walked out of the shadows, having been invisible the entire time due to a side effect of his powers. “Who the hell is out here this late at night?” He started to ask, the sentence seemingly ending there as he allowed the shadows to once more come over him and the next moment he was outside looking down at the Boy who dared to knock on the door of the forgotten Cabin in the middle of the night. “And what the bloody hell do they want?” He asked, his British accent shining through a tad bit more at this point. Whoever the kid was they had either impress Cain pretty damn soon, have a Titans damn good reason for being here, or they had a death wish. He thought to himself moving his jacket just enough so he could place his hand on the pommel of his Kilj.

Meet the Titans Empty
PostSubject: Re: Meet the Titans   Meet the Titans Icon_minitimeTue Aug 05, 2014 7:47 am

Exhaling while he waited, Elliot noted that as the night had progressed it had gotten notably colder. He regretted not wearing more than a vest under his thin jumper. Right. Just say you were curious. He'd hardly kill you for that. Well, he'd hardly kill me. Right? People don't just kill people. He let out a shivered stream of breath. The only thing that matters, keep your cool. You want to impress this guy. He heard movement within, and straightened his back. Trying to look nonchalant and respectful at the same time. The door pulled open and... wait.

Before him stood a tan skinned, blonde kid - roughly about his age. Something didn't add up. From what he had heard, it was one of the older kids that had been claimed, and he knew for a fact that their hair was black. "Can I help you?" there had been a set back. Why the hell was this other kid here. There couldn't be more than one demi-titan, right? None for centuries and then suddenly two within the same month. Before he could answer, Elliot heard a second voice. This one was much rougher, and sounded quite... irritated. After a few seconds, the black haired, older faced demi-titan peered around the door. That was much better, he fitted the vague description he had. “And what the bloody hell do they want?” Wow. He sounded cool. Keeping his composure, Elliot tilted his head.

"Well... I had heard about you." his hand rose from his pockets, arm bent at the elbow and he pointed at Cain, briefly, before it moved over to Liam. "But I have no clue who this is." he straightened his neck again. "I am Elliot, and I wanted to see if it was true. That a demi-titan walked once more. I had no expected to find two."

The males reaction upon seeing him was amusing, surprise blooming along his face much like a flower. To someone like Liam, it was adorable and very amusing, watching someone make an expression like that. This caused his own lips to split into a smile, or rather a larger one as Cain seemed to be making his move to see who this guy was.  His attention would fall back to the sound of Cain and his accent. So it seemed that both of the Demi-Titans were foreigners, which sounded like a fine enough thing to him. Things went from there, Cain showing off his little shadow porting powers and perhaps amazing the poor little demi-god looking fellow. This caused Liam to chuckle, resting his elbow against the lining of the door and waiting for the boy to spit out his reason for being here.

”Elliot eh? So ya came all of the way out here ta see little ole Cain?” He said with an amused tone, looking to Cain with an expression that spoke of his amusement. He would chuckle before shaking his head and looking to Elliot with amusement. "Not safe for little demi-gods to go wanderin bout the forest at night though, mosnters’ll getcha, and that’d be a waste of such a pretty face.” he noted with a wink. ”Names Liam though.”

PostSubject: Re: Meet the Titans   Meet the Titans Icon_minitimeTue Aug 05, 2014 5:25 pm

Hand still resting atop his Kilij Cain listened to the reasons given out by the boy, Elliot was his name, and chuckled. It wasn’t a har har so funny he was about to die chuckle and nor was it an ‘I am about to slice your throat open chuckle’ instead it was one of…amusement? Amusement was the correct word Cain was looking for, and he mentally ‘nodded’ in agreement with his thought. Still behind ‘Elliot’ Cain walked to the side of the boy and past him to lean up against the side of the Cabin, arms crossed as he looked the boy up and down. He was sizing him up to at least try and determine what worth the kid had. He was obviously no Ares kid, to scrawny, but he did have a sort of ‘Minor-Underworld Gods’ flair going for him.

“Not one but from what I’ve heard three of us are at this Camp, Me, Liam, and that Oceanus brat.” He spat when he spoke the name. “Now that you’ve seen that the rumors are true, I’ve gota ask. What exactly did you plan on doing when you discovered we were real? Autographs, stand there awestruck? Beg us to murder you in some sick sadistic fashion?” Cain’s blood red eyes lit up as he grinned while speaking that last little line. The kid hadn’t quite caught his interest exactly but he seemed to amuse Liam a tad, so Cain would let him slide for now. Tapping his fingers on the top of the Kilij Cain asked one ‘final’ question “So…who’s kid are you and what can you do? Oh, and make it good, so I don’t get a reason to kill you.”

Okay, so maybe it was two questions but they usually came as a pair, and Cain normally didn’t at all care whose parent the little demi-gods was or what they could do because eventually he’d crush them under his boots. This time however was a tad different, this Elliot had willingly sought him out in the middle of the night during his element to…see if he was real. There had to be more to it and if he could figure that out he’d feel a little better about not killing the kid as soon as he walked up to the Forgotten Cabin.

Elliot's expression barely changed while Liam spoke. Something about his manner was particularly... off-putting. He seemed like more of a horny frat-boy than a demi-titan. But, still remaining polite, he smiled when he finished speaking. "Hello Liam." his eyes however, followed the original reason he was here. Cain walked from behind him and moved over to the side of the cabin, leaning against it. Wow, these demi-titans really are fond of leaning. he noted, as Liam himself was leaning against the door. When cain spoke of autographs, being starstruck and then begging for death, Elliot couldn't help but laugh a little. He's joking, he's a funny guy. He'd said something about a third demi-titan. There were so many. His mind drifted on the possiblity that perhaps, the Titans themselves were plotting something. That's retarded, shut up Elliot.

“So…who’s kid are you and what can you do? Oh, and make it good, so I don’t get a reason to kill you.” Elliot's arms folded over. It could be taken as an act to show that he was laid back, nonchalant, uncaring. In truth it was so neither of them could see his hands shaking. He'd joked about killing him one too many times, and Elliot was getting nervous. With the chill in the air, you could see that he taking longer breaths to calm himself. Speaking with an unwavering tone. "I am the son of Hecate." He turned to look directly at Cain, who's eyes had taken on a rather intimidating shade of red. Elliot smiled. "That's awesome." he remarked, before returning to the question. "I can do magic." he wanted to keep it as simple as possible. When he said that, three moon coloured glymphs formed around him at the points of a triangle, and from these magical symbols arose some dark, yet faintly glowing phantoms. They floated into the air, and moved through it slowly - as if they were submerged in water.

The demi-good did not seem to have a visible response to his flirting, only keeping a straight face and looking to Cain as he made his rather scary death threats. He however could only chuckle, letting his lips remain within a smile while looking at the male curiously. ”I could always offer an autograph, no one ever seem to ask that of me these days.” he said with a smirk, letting the accent of his seep into how he spoke, though he made sure to not interrupt as Cain would likely grow annoyed at being interrupted. ”Ya don’t gotta kill him, right Cain?” Liam asked with a false whine, looking to the magic boy apprehensively. ”Afterall, not every day I get to meet a magical demi-god who can summon magic ghosts.” He added with a chuckle, motioning with his head towards

"Mmm no I don't have to kill him, at least not yet." Cain said with a sadistic grin. His blood red eyes never once moving themselves off of the boy in front of him, instead watching and waiting to see just what the 'child' had up his sleeve. Sure, Cain hated absolutely hated Demi-Gods and how weak they were; yet unlike humans who didn't deserve to exist on the same planet as he did Demi-Gods could quite possibly be useful. "Hecate huh? Hmm had you pegged for a sort of underworldly type." He mused before razing an eyebrow at the three ghosts.

That was what the kid thought was powerful? That 'magic' was what he thought was going to impress Cain Vulsore the King of Darkness, the Son of the Primordial Embodiment of Shadows? Son of the first born of Chaos, it who created everything from nothing? Suppressing a laugh Cain simply smirked instead, "that's what you call magic?" Snapping his fingers they were surrounded by fifteen Shadow monsters all of different shapes, sizes, and form. Some looked to be lions, tigers, bears, wolves, ancient warriors from Spartans to Knights, and one even closely resembled a Dragon. "Than you have another thing coming Demi-God." He let the shadow monsters linger a couple of moments longer before getting up off of the wall and walking in front of Elliot and up the creaking stairs to the forgotten Cabin in the woods. "Come in side, and let's chat though. Me and Liam could...use the company, and we'll talk about the real reason why you sought me out even after all the rumors."
